SpinDrift Dance will be joined by youth dance groups, schools and the local community to present a movement installation inspired by horizons. Based on archived images of the Armada and new artwork, their bodies will interpret and reposition to balance on benches, hang upside down on green spaces, freeze still on pavements and delicately place themselves on walls. All facing towards the horizon. Body paint and art work on clothing will mix the archived art work with new ideas and questions about the Armada such as; What is on the horizon for Plymouth? What would you like to see on the horizon? What are the people of Plymouth waiting for? The human sculptures will change position every five minutes, slowly traversing along Armada Way and towards the Horizon of the Hoe.
